Check out what Father is up to today . . . .

In whatever wilderness you are wandering, remember these words in Jeremiah 31. They are for us too! Father is out looking for us! As we search, as we yearn, as we wonder – is there rest for our weariness? Father says yes. More than that, Father comes looking. He comes looking for us. “This is the way God put it: ‘They found grace out in the desert, these people who survived the killing. Israel, out looking for a place to rest, met God out looking for them!'” Jeremiah 31:2 from The Message

Ron had asked what God card we were studying this week. He went to the Plan and saw that we had chosen God card #4 – Blanket/Mr. Bear. I believe God comforts me. I found this verse at the bottom of the card under “And then some.” So good to go searching and find he is already searching for me!

Remember: while you are out looking for a place to rest, he is already out looking for you!

(funny note: Upon linking the Plan to this post, I was checking over the dates. It turns out this was not the God card for this week but rather for November 2-8. How funny. I am not sure how Ron got to this God card this morning, but I am sure glad he did.)
